Job Description Job Summary:
The Reliability Advisor provides multi-site support to Refineries and Chemical plants to help the sites improve Reliability, Maintenance and Cost performance. Reliability Advisor position is in Fairfax, VA.

Primary Job Functions:
. Provide support to operating locations to assist with the implementation of Reliability improvements. The assistance ranges from short telephone conversations with site personnel to multi-week on site activities.
. Provide Reliability interface on Capital Projects to ensure reliability deliverables are met.
. Facilitate consistent application of Risk Based Work Selection for Turnarounds and Annual plan development
. Provide guidance to sites on proper application of ExxonMobil globally common reliability work processes and tools
. Review the content and quality of site developed RCM based equipment plans
. Facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis on reliability events
. Help maintain Reliability and Maintenance practices and tools (manuals and computer programs)

Job Requirements:
. BS in Engineering
. Understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principals and the development of equipment plans
. Ability to conduct risk based decision activities including Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
. Be familiar with Incident Investigation protocol
. Familiarity with common computing tools associated with the above ( for example, Reliability Modeling, Weibull analysis, Reliability Growth)
. Good communications skills to deliver formal and informal training
. Willing to regularly travel to ExxonMobil sites
. Willingness to pursue a technical career in Reliability Engineering

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
. Experience based knowledge of reliability aspects in the following areas:
a) Operations (process and maintenance)
b) Project development
c) Data analysis
