COMPENSATION: Band H:$78,570 - $112,616 JOB REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor-Ts degree in engineering or business administration or the equivalent degree and ten (10) years of related experience, including applicable supervisory experience, are required. The selected candidate should have a meter service background including an understanding of customer metering and regulation; and have an understanding of customer utilization equipment. A gas distribution background, including experience in construction and maintenance of distribution gas infrastructure, system operations, emergency preparedness, and planning and system restoration is preferable. Individual should be familiar with proper piping and equipment installation techniques; should be familiar with NFPA 54, Building and Mechanical codes. Should have an understanding of basic appliance troubleshooting and repair techniques; and have the appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide employees toward goal achievement. The ability to modify employee behavior to accommodate tasks, situations and unforeseen priorities.; the ability to multi-task; and a thorough knowledge of applicable work practices, procedures and safety requirements, along with HR management and business planning skills are required. Detailed knowledge of technical aspects and business principles is required. JOB DESCRIPTION: Individual assists, in a partnership role, the Manager-Meter Service/Dispatch in all aspects of his/her responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the safe, timely, and efficient completion of all work efforts relating to the Meter Service and Dispatch operations, and in the related support of construction, operation, maintenance and emergency restoration of the gas distribution system 24/7. The selected candidate will help promote a safety-first work environment and positive safety culture; must demonstrate a customer-focus commitment; and ensure department members deliver the best possible customer experience. Individual will also assist the Manager-Meter Service/Dispatch with the planning, scheduling, coordination, and supervision of all Gas Meter Service and Dispatch activity in an assigned area of responsibility. This position is being simulataneously posted internally and externally. This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing. Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre-assignment drug test if the individual is currently in a non-safety sensitive position. As an employee in this position the individual shall be subject to random drug testing. A positive drug test will result in disciplinary action.
