GIS Analyst II (Land) Tracking Code 217405-980 Job Description * Offload and post process GPS data * Provides GIS support, working with staff and vendors * Working knowledge of tax maps, farmline and topo maps * Working knowledge of property deeds and deed plotting programs * Spatial Analysis/mapping/modeling/reporting * Map Production including thematic mapping: GIS creation and editing * Prepare digital data products for export * Image rectification/georeferencing and image manipulation * Set-up base mapping products including parcel data * Prepare exhibit maps for the purchase of pipeline right of way * Development and maintenance of topologies, data creation/editing/conversion * Coordinates between sections of the land department and construction department Required Skills
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access * Working knowledge of property deeds, deed plotting programs and chain of title programs preferred * High degree of initiative, attention to detail and accuracy, timeliness * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team * Ability to follow through on assignments and manage deadlines * Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deal with time sensitive issues in an effective manner * Demonstrated ability to use Trimble GPS Unit * Demonstrated ability to use the following or similar software packages: Adobe Acrobat, Autocad, ArcGIS, Cartopac, Deed Plotter, Expert GPS, Garmin Mapsource , GPS Pathfinder Office, Kinnosa, Microsoft Office and Terrain Navigator Pro Required Experience * Bachelor''s degree in geographic information systems (GIS) or a closely related field * At least five years of progressive experience with ESRI GIS software or related applications, including Oracle SDE database administration, database posting and reconciling, scripting, ArcGIS Server administration, ArcEngine and the ArcGIS suite of products or related products * An equivalent combination of education and experience Job Location Clarksburg, West Virginia, United States Position Type Full-Time/Regular
