Job Description
* Provides preventative and corrective field mechanical service on gas compression, process and / or production equipment on site at client locations. This position will be for the After Market Services Group based out of the Belle Chasse, LA office. * Comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic and analytical skills needed to provide excellent customer service. * Performs maintenance overhauls and emergency services as needed. * Responds to emergency maintenance calls. * Requires moderate production equipment knowledge.
Skills/Requirements Required: * High School Diploma or equivalent . * Minimum of two or more years of compression process, production and equipment-related expereince and/or training. * Possess thorough knowledge of compressor packages including all componenets and systems. * Must be willing to travel extensively. * Drive and work in inclement weather conditions. * Has own tools. * Read, write, speak and understand basic English. * Customer Service orientation. * Has a valid driver's license. Desired: * Engine and compressor schools / training. * Knowledge of high and slow speed equipment. * Basic computer skills and ability to be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
