SBM Atlantia is currently recruiting for a Lead Instrument and Controls (I&C) Engineer for our Houston office.

The Lead Instrument and Controls (I&C) Engineer is responsible for leading a team of Engineers and Designers in performing Instrument Engineering and Design for offshore projects and the responsibilities include schedule, budget and quality for the project. I&C experience should include previous offshore engineering lead experience consisting of the following: Field Instruments, Automated Valves (Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electric), Pressure Relief Valves, Analyzers, Fire and Gas detectors and systems, ICSS (shut down hierarchy, cause & effects and control narratives), Metering Systems, C&Es, Control Narratives, Instrument Index, IO Assignment, Instrument Hook-ups, Instrument Supports, I&C Interface with Packages, Cable Block Diagrams, Cable Schedule, Instrument and F&G Layouts, and Termination & Loop Drawings.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Instrumentation) with preference given to candidates having an advanced degree.

Candidates should also have 7 years of related experience with offshore projects, including lead roles on both FEED and detailed engineering for FPSOs.

Candidates must have hands-on experience with Intools, in modules: Index, Specs, Calculation and Process Data.

Yard engineering support experience preferred.
