Performs routine wastewater analysis for process control as directed by the Lead Operator such as: * Chemical oxygen demand (COD) * Analysis of BOD5 * Suspended and total solids, volatile solids, ammonia * Total kjedahl nitrogen (TKN) " pH " Conductivity * Process jar testing * The operations of the Atomic Absorption analysis equipment * Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions Other duties may be assigned Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years of formal training and experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures and safe practice * Previous water or wastewater treatment experience
