Job Responsibilities:

* Geomechanical consulting projects in the fields of wellbore stability, prediction of sand production, fault seal analysis, analysis of fractured reservoirs, etc.
* Mentor new Associates and Specialists through on-the-job training in all aspects of the consulting workflow and delivery. Accompany and support Specialist at project delivery meetings
* Help teach technical training courses on geomechanical theory and practical use of GMI’s software. Help with preparation and production of technical training materials
* Lead consulting projects by interfacing with clients (as directed/ required) on all aspects of the project and other work. Visit customers for data collation, interim meetings, or project presentations. Coordinate work with 3rdparty sub-contractors or partners
* Perform consulting work including;

o Assign, review and collate project data and information
o Assign and perform geomechanical project work including pore pressure, wellbore stability analysis, image & caliper log analysis, stress constraint, fracture permeability, fault seal analysis, sand production and other related activities
o Assign and deliver final presentations
o Assign and help prepare presentations, technical documents and other items of project delivery
· Attend trade shows, conferences and help with other marketing and sales activities such as assisting salespeople at sales calls when assistance is required
· Support research and technology developments as required
· Author and contribute to technical papers and publications related to the company’s business activities
Skills Required:

* Knowledge of Hydraulic Fracturing and stimulation techniques.
* Expertise in cuttings re-injection (CRI), produced water re-injection (PWRI) and carbon capture sequestration (CCS) is a plus.
* Good presentation, customer and teaching skills.
* Excellent Business Development skills.

Experience & Education:

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline, Math, Physics, Geophysics. 7+ years related experience to include fracture stimulation experience.
