Working as a Sr. Technology Security Manager, you will assess strategic technical plans, evaluate technology issues, and work with Business Managers and technology planners to set and communicate technology directions for security and/or contingency planning. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and leadership supporting projects involving the implementation of the Corporation's technical security architecture. You will be required to maintain an in-depth knowledge of communications technologies, the strategic plans for communications technologies deployment, network architectures and complementary technical security technologies.
As the Sr. Technology Security Manager, you will be considered the subject matter expert on various technical security products and methodologies such as Firewalls, Authentication Processes, Single Sign On and Encryption and provides consulting, advice and direction in specific product implementations. You will be required to stay abreast of evolving technologies in the technical security area and be responsible for helping to determine the compatibility of new products for use within the Corporation's technical security architecture, and for completing specific product evaluations and determining strategic migration paths. You will provide second tier technical support, vendor coordination, software development, initial product configurations and develop management methods for all installed technical security products.
Specifics:
Position has responsibility for deliverables to CSO, CTO, Marketing, Sales, and other teams. It calls into play increased technical knowledge of networking and routing. It calls for a knowledge of security systems and ability to consult with a variety of security experts.
This position provides technical information about AT&T research, publicly accessible security information (e.g., Internet Protect and Daily Security Tips) and support for broadcast transmission testing and security testing. This activity, distributed over four physical corporate locations (and more), requires a dedicated senior security technology specialist to identify, build and recommend solutions in real time.
This position requires identification of cost effective solutions for distribution of content and data. It is expected that this position will save cost by identifying competitive, cost-effective solutions. This position provides system engineering and system integration support for a suite of tools being developed by the Security Research & Development group. The tools developed would support security testing from labs in several states prior to an enterprise wide deployment.
As a member of a Security Research & Development team, design and implement hardware and software solutions supporting security projects. Evaluate existing technology to ensure that equipment is meeting all security and functional requirements. Provide operations solutions for new technologies developed.
The position will interact with technical teams to developing new content distribution strategies; present solutions to management chain, including senior management. Work with teams across AT&T to develop and improve network strategies for delivering video content securely to AT&T customers. Implement multimedia transmission system supporting network of security portal kiosks. The position will provide system engineering requirements and network architecture designs supporting broadcast technology security testing. Deploys hardware, software, performs system testing, and recommends changes to existing systems.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Knowledge of various AT&T network processes
Technical knowledge of other CSO security testing processes
Excellent oral communication skills
Knowledge of network design and data, web, and broadcast engineering standards
Experience as system integrator or engineer of enterprise data and content delivery systems
Experience with routers and switches
Experience with security aspects for deploying digital signage, such as, kiosks and interactive displays.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of CAD systems
Expertise in large LED display systems
