Region and Geomarket management teams work to understand customer needs and coordinate delivery of individual products and comprehensive service solutions that include the right Baker Hughes technologies for the project.
Responsibilities:
Support Supply Chain Quality by:
* Perform "due"diligence" Supplier audits as required per certification requirements and / or various business needs.
* Identify and monitor "critical to quality" parameters for top suppliers in Approved Supplier List
* lead risk assessments and create product quality plans with suppliers
* Proactively lead supplier development activities
* Interface with engineering and procurement to get parts qualified in a timely manner.
* Analyze and respond to Customer complaint reports, Corrective action reports, and Non conformance reports as it pertains to supplier conditions.
* Develop and proactively initiate process improvement projects with suppliers to improve quality, delivery and reduce process variability.
* Must comply with applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations
SKILLS:
* ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred
* Six Sigma Certification (Black or Green Belt)
* ISO 9000 / 2001 Lead Quality Auditor preferred
* Familiarity with engineering drawings as well as manufacturing systems with 2-5 years of experience with process improvement, quality auditing / inspection, and manufacturing supplier development.
* Must be able and willing to travel to meet business needs
* Must be proficient in use of MS Office applications and Visio.
* Excellent organizational, facilitation, and team building skills.
* Fluent Speaking and Writing English
EDUCATION:
* BS degree or equivalent
* Preferred minimum of 3 years experience in strategic sourcing quality environment.
* Preferred minimum of 3 years relevant oil field experience.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
* Baker Hughes management courses and seminars.
* ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor
* ISO 9001:2008 / API Q1 Knowledge and application
