Job Description / Responsibilitites
- Plans or re-plans wells as required - Prepares initial planning for direction and horizontal wells, anti-collision analysis using ellipses and tool errors model, inputs, calculate and validate surveys on a daily basis - Generate a plan view and graphical presentation of the directional profile - Support field personnel when required. End of month activity logs and end of well reports - actual versus proposed - May assist in supervising a well planning team. Mentors and supports junior planners
Work Location : Muscat, Oman
Education / Experience
- Two-year technical qualification or Associates Degree - 3 to 5 years experience
Skills Requirement
- Knowledge of directional drilling, horizontal drilling, and well bore positioning survey - Advanced PC skills - Strong math and problem solving skills
